1. About Our Service

Pet Studio provides an AI-powered pet portrait service. Users upload a photograph of their pet, select an artistic style, and receive either a digital download or a printed and framed artwork delivered to their chosen address.

2. Eligibility

By using our Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you have the consent of a parent or guardian. You must provide accurate and complete information when placing orders.

3. Orders and Pricing

3.1 Placing an Order

When you place an order through our Site, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. An order is confirmed when we send you an order confirmation email.

3.2 Pricing

All prices displayed on the Site are in British Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of purchase.

3.3 Payment

Payment is processed securely via Stripe at the time of ordering. We accept major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Your order will not be processed until payment has been received in full.

4. Products and Services

4.1 Digital Downloads

Digital downloads are delivered via email or made available for download through your account. Digital products are non-refundable once delivered, except where required by law.

4.2 Printed and Framed Artwork

Printed and framed items are custom-made to order. As bespoke items, they are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless faulty or not as described.

4.3 AI-Generated Content

Our AI system processes your uploaded photograph to generate artwork. Please note:

• AI art is an interpretation, not an exact likeness
• Results depend on the quality and clarity of the uploaded photo
• Humans are automatically removed from images; only your pet will appear in the final artwork
• We cannot guarantee specific outcomes
• We recommend uploading a clear, well-lit photo showing your pet's face for best results

5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Your Content

You are solely responsible for the images you upload. By uploading an image, you confirm that:

• You own the image or have permission to use it
• The image does not infringe any third-party rights
• The content does not contain illegal, offensive, or inappropriate material

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not use our services to:

• Upload content that is illegal, obscene, or harmful
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate our AI systems
• Interfere with the operation of the Site
• Resell or commercially redistribute artwork without our permission

6. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Pet Studio or its licensors and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

Upon purchase, you receive a personal licence to use your AI-generated artwork for personal, non-commercial use. You may print, display, and share your portraits, but you may not commercially resell them.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Physical products are shipped via DHL UK. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier or circumstances beyond our control.

We currently ship to the United Kingdom only. Shipping costs are displayed at checkout and added to your order total.

8. Returns and Refunds

8.1 Digital Products

Digital downloads are non-refundable once delivered, as they cannot be "returned."

8.2 Physical Products

As all printed and framed artwork is custom-made, we do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, if your product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 14 days of receipt and we will arrange a replacement or refund.

8.3 Cancellations

You may cancel your order before it has been dispatched. Once an item has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

8.4 Dissatisfaction with AI Output

If you are unhappy with the AI-generated artwork, please contact us. While we cannot offer refunds for stylistic preferences, we may offer a re-generation at our discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pet Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the product or service in question.

10. Privacy

Your use of our Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or technical failures.
